Courage gives me the strength to continue, to keep digging until I reach the source of what needs healing. It pushes me to create space for growth, for resolution, for becoming just a little more whole. For me, vulnerability isn’t the hard choice—it’s the only one. The alternative, building walls or facades, would keep me from the truth of who I am.
Gratitude fuels my courage. Knowing I have the opportunity to work within myself, to grow into a better husband, father, and friend, reminds me of why I write. This work—this creation—isn’t just for me; it’s my way of offering the best version of myself to the world.
That, I believe, is why we’re here.
