Meet G. Anthony

Nobody's Bio

I’m G. Anthony—a poet, storyteller, and stay-at-home father of two, navigating the quiet spaces between chaos and clarity. I don’t have all the answers, but I’ve learned that asking the right questions can change everything—like who are we beyond the noise, and what remains when we let go? Through poetry and prose, I explore healing, growth, and transformation, inviting you to step beyond identity and rediscover the truth within.

A Free 30-Day Healing Companion

✦ The Quiet Work ✦

This isn’t a guide. It’s not a quick fix.

It’s a mirror—for the parts of you still trying, still breathing, still here.

The Quiet Work was created in a moment when I needed to remember the kind of healing that doesn’t shout. The kind that doesn’t require perfection. Just presence.

Each page is a small breath. A reminder that you don’t have to have a plan to begin. That survival matters. That even the softest steps count.

You’re welcome to download it, share it, return to it when things feel heavy or still. My only hope is that it finds someone, somewhere—maybe even you—and helps.

Because the quiet work matters.

And so do you.

When Everything Matters But You

You keep moving, because stopping feels like failure.

But here’s the truth—

We Didn’t Know, And Thought We Did

The fastest way to lose someone you love is to stop being there when they speak.

Two and a Half Weeks of Everything

And every single day has felt like both a breeze and a storm.

The Road to Lakefly Writers Conference

Over the next 30 days, I’m sharing poems that are meant to be felt, not just read.

The Space Between Now and Her Arrival

Three years as a stay-at-home father taught me more than any book ever could.

A Real Glimpse into Surviving PTSD

A dear friend called me last night. I was reminded how few people call each other these days. When I answered the phone, somebody different was on the other end. Not my friend. Their PTSD. Repeated nightmares. Months of mental torture, internal warfare. They had...

The Illusion of Identity and the Ego’s Grip

My mind, in its desperate attempt to protect me, had made the connection.

The Turning Point

It’s a holding place, a waiting room between who you were and who you’re becoming.

The War Inside: Getting Back on Track

Falling behind isn’t just about the work—it’s about what it does to your mind. The moment I realized I was off track, the first thought hit hard: What is wrong with me? It sat in my chest like a weight, pressing down, making everything feel heavier. I knew what I...

Authors Among Us, My First Author Book Fair!

On Deck...

The Nobody’s Words Podcast is coming soon—an immersive journey into self-discovery, healing, and letting go. I blend poetry, storytelling, and raw conversation to explore what’s left when we strip away the noise. Each episode challenges you to question, reflect, and step beyond identity—because sometimes, the path to freedom begins with becoming Nobody.

Nobody's Insane

Nobody’s Insane is in progress—unraveling the raw truth behind mental illness, trauma, and what it means to be labeled insane. Through poetry, memoir, and an unfiltered look inside the walls of a mental institution, I expose the hidden realities of the system and the deeper truths about identity, suffering, and survival. This isn’t just a story—it’s a reckoning with the way society defines sanity. Set for a winter release, Nobody’s Insane is a gripping journey into the mind, the system, and the freedom found in seeing beyond both.

Facets of Reflection

Words have a way of meeting us exactly where we are, offering glimpses of clarity, connection, and truth. In this space, I share pieces from Nobody’s Words and other writing—a collection born from deep reflection, healing, and transformation. Each piece holds its own energy, its own meaning, and I invite you to step into it, to feel what it stirs within you. Alongside each selection, I’ll share a glimpse into why it was written—because sometimes, understanding the moment behind the words makes them all the more real.

Like a Tree

A tree always knows

when to let go—

to shed its leaves,

brace for another winter.

Year after year.

Remember to pause,

evaluate life,

and let go of what no longer serves you.

Shed your leaves.

You’ll grow them back next season.

Keep life fresh.

What “Like a Tree” Encapsulates

This piece is about trusting the cycle. Nature doesn’t force growth—it allows it. The tree doesn’t cling to summer or mourn the leaves as they fall. It releases. It prepares. And in that quiet surrender, it makes room for what’s next. Letting go isn’t loss—it’s readiness.

The Moment Behind It

I wrote this while watching the wind tug at branches, leaves floating down like memories finally released. Not rushed. Not resisted. Just allowed. It reminded me that we don’t have to hold everything forever. Growth has seasons. And healing begins the moment we’re willing to let something fall.
